Empress Garden Under Threat: 2.5 Acres Slated for Court Construction

🔴 HERITAGE ALERT: The 134-year-old Empress Botanical Garden is facing a serious threat.

The Agri-Horticultural Society of Western India — which has maintained the garden since 1892 — has strongly opposed a plan to transfer about 2.5 acres of the garden for court construction.
